Premier Equine Tom Thumb Bit with Copper Lozenge

A cross between an American gag and an elevator bit, the Tom Thumb offers more precision and control and is popular for show jumping and cross country. Its lifting effect in front can help the rider sit the horse back on its hocks for tighter turns and more efficient jumping.

The uplifting action combined with poll pressure can discourage horses from leaning on the bit. It can be used with one rein on the snaffle ring or lower ring, or with two reins for increased precision. The copper lozenge contours the tongue and reduces the nutcracker action of a single-jointed bit, while copper encourages salivation and mouthing.

• Sizes: 5" and 5.5"
• Copper lozenge mouthpiece
• Useful for horses that lean on the rider's hands

Please note: for reasons of health and hygiene, this bit is non-returnable once removed from its template.
