Horseware Micklem Competition Bridle

The Horseware Micklem Bridle is one of the most significant developments in bridle design in recent decades, developed by William Micklem following extensive research into equine facial anatomy and nerve pathways. By repositioning the noseband, cheekpieces and browband away from sensitive facial nerves and bones, the Micklem reduces discomfort and tension, allowing horses to work in a more relaxed, correct outline.

The Competition Bridle features a refined, elegant finish suitable for all affiliated disciplines. Many riders report improved acceptance of the bit, greater relaxation through the jaw and improved performance after switching to a Micklem. Compatible with standard bits and can also be used as a lungeing cavesson.
