Saracen Re-Leve® Mix is a high-calorie, cereal-free, and alfalfa-free horse feed specifically engineered for horses that require a low-starch (8%) and low-sugar (6%) diet. Formulated in partnership with Kentucky Equine Research, it replaces traditional cereal-based concentrates by sourcing energy from highly digestible "Super-Fibres" and high oil levels (9%). It carries the BETA Assurance Mark, making it widely recommended by vets for managing horses prone to gastric ulcers, tying-up, and excitable behaviours

Saracen Pasture Lick is a vitamin & mineral lick designed to balance out any nutrient deficiencies in the diet of a horse that is only fed forage. It has been found over a number of years that modern grasses are deficient in a wide range of major & minor elements which can lead to issues in all types of horse, especially breeding stock. This highly palatable form of these minerals ensures that the horses do not have any significant holes in their diet & will stay healthy.

Allen & Page Veteran Vitality. Veteran Vitality has been specially formulated for horses and ponies from the first signs of ageing. It contains a good calorie level to help with weight maintenance along with nutritional requirements for optimum health in older horses and ponies. Once soaked it forms a soft mash making it very easy for any horses with dental problems to chew. Veteran Vitality is high in fibre and low in starch and sugar making it ‘kinder’ on the digestive system. A special blend of premium grade herbs are included, such as mint, nettle, dandelion and fenugreek, which also make it highly palatable, even to fussy feeders!

Care & Gain is a high calorie feed suitable for horses and ponies prone to laminitis. Care & Gain is ideal for poor doers who need to gain weight or those requiring higher energy levels, whilst keeping starch and sugar levels low. Care & Gain contains high quality protein sources to support muscle maintenance in older horses and ponies, alongside elevated vitamins C and E to support the body’s immune system, antioxidant capacity and muscle function. Calories are provided from easily digestible fibre and oil sources, allowing controlled weight gain whilst supporting normal metabolic function. TopSpec Ulsakind. TopSpec UlsaKind (Ultra Low Starch Analysis) Cubes are suitable for horses prone to gastric ulcers. They can also be fed to horses undergoing veterinary care.   UlsaKind Cubes are formulated to be highly sympathetic to the equine digestive system, especially when the normal increase in acidity occurs between feeds. The formula is cereal-grain-free, very low in starch and sugar, and high in fibre, but still has a conditioning index of 12MJ/kg making these cubes both ‘Non-Heating’ and conditioning.

TopChop Lite is a natural product made from chopped British alfalfa and British oat straw; with real mint, and a light dressing of cold-pressed linseed oil to minimise ‘fly-away’ and the loss of alfalfa protein. TopChop Lite contains no added molasses or any other sugar coating.

Mashes are very useful for hydrating horses and volunmising their feed. TopSpec Linseed Mash combines the best of traditional knowledge with modern technology. Rich in linseed and oatbran this mash contains just 11% starch, yet the scattering of flaked maize and flaked peas lends a mix-like appearance to this irresistible mash.

TopSpec FibrePlus Cubes are ideal for good doers or as a hay replacer.  They should be thought of as exceptionally high quality, high fibre cubes. The formula is cereal-grain-free, very low in starch and sugar, ‘Non-Heating’* and contains good quality protein sources to help maintain muscle function and repair. This helps to avoid the ‘fat but not fit’ situation which often occurs when good doers are fed low quality high-fibre cubes, which often contain large quantities of alkali-treated straw. We guarantee that no straw is included in these cubes.
